The Preliminary Evaluation results for free-registration entries can be inquired on the DIA official website now. For additional-registration entries, the DIA Committee will
organize a separate evaluation and inform the results then. Free registration for nominated works remains open until 24:00 on August 1, with evaluation results
accessible for inquiry soon after the registration window closes.
Result Inquiry Process:
Log in to the DIA official website (https://en.di-award.org/) and enter the registration system, and click on “Entry List” to check the status of your entry.
1. For public-registration entries, the status of “Shortlisted for the Second Evaluation” indicates your entry has qualified for the Second Evaluation.
2. The review of nominated entries is currently in progress:
- If the status shows “Nomination Qualification Approved”, it means the entry has qualified for the Second Evaluation.
- If the status shows “Under Review”, it means the entry is still under review by the nominating experts.
- If the status shows “Nomination Qualification Not Approved”, it means the entry has not passed the nomination review.
3. Result inquiry is currently unavailable for additional-registration entries. The Committee will organize a separate evaluation and notify participants of the evaluation results individually.
Notes for Shortlisted Entries:
As per the 2026 Design Intelligence Award Announcement, all shortlisted entries for the Second Evaluation shall deliver the physical works to the DIA Committee (including commercially available products, functional prototypes, or appearance models. In cases where the entries are too large to transport, participants can submit small-scale models or prototypes instead.). Additionally, participants are required to upload the video for the Second Evaluation (If the video was already uploaded for the Preliminary Evaluation, participants can choose to either continue using the same video or replace it with a new one).
For non-physical digital experience entries (such as software or service systems), participants may choose to submit their entries in video format. However, for entries in the Digital Economy category, it is recommended that participants provide a platform link and account information in the delivery section of the registration system to enable judges to directly experience the work. For digital products that require additional software installation, a device with the pre-installed software shall be provided and sent to DIA for evaluation.
Detailed requirements for entry delivery, including video upload, shipping address, and delivery timeline, will be provided separately in the Instructions for Entries Delivery, which will be released soon. Participants are kindly advised to closely follow updates on the official DIA website and regularly check the email notifications sent to the email address provided during registration. Should the participants fail to deliver the physical entry or upload the video as required, they will be deemed to have voluntarily forfeited the qualification for Second Evaluation.
